Dr. Sorah has been teaching and researching the psychology of sexual behavior for the past 13 years for Florida International University. Her human sexuality classes combine the latest scientific findings with personal recollections of the major influences that span the late 20th century into the 21st century.
Sexual expression has changed drastically during the end of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century. These changes have broad implications for the way human beings meet, court and marry, or not, and start families, or not. These changes include delaying marriage, increase of cohabitation, and the expansion of gender identity and sexual orientation definitions.
Dr. Sorah will offer classes on YouTube that will discuss emerging trends in sexual expression She will talk about love, attraction, intimacy, marriage, having children, sexual coercion and pornography. In addition, she will discuss the role that science has played in enabling changing the way people procreate.
Dr.Sorah’s classes take a systems approach to the study of human sexuality. Sexual expression takes place in a context of interpersonal, intrapersonal, cultural, historical, environmental, political technological/medical, and spiritual factors.
A focus of Dr. Sorah’s classes is determining the attributes of healthy sexuality and the cultivation of sexual intelligence.

Dr. Sorah will offer free mini-lectures on line along with monthly 1 ½ hour workshops. Workshop registration fee is $15. Dr. Sorah is also available to speak to your group online.
The lecture material is appropriate for teens, young adults, mid-lifers and seniors.
